Books
From UMassWiki
Finding books at a reasonable price and in a convenient manner can be a big challenge.
To find out what books you'll need for your classes, go to eFollet's web site -- eFollet runs the Textbook Annex -- and select your classes from the list. Here's the link to the UMass Amherst section.
You can use the eFollet site to order books which you can then pick up at the Textbook Annex. However, many times you can save a large amount of money by looking up the books you need on eFollet's site and then buying them used on eBay, half.com, or ZooMassBooks, or even new on Amazon! Often the prices offered by eFollet are extremely high.
Classifieds site such as Craigslist or the Wham Classifieds are good can you can post as well as browse books locally.
You can also sell books on any of the above web sites. Older edition are still usable, so if the Textbook Annex doesn't by your book back, you still have a chance to sell it if someone else wouldn't mind using the older edition.
